About

Solutions in Stainless Steel

Kingston Rigging provides high quality rigging and fabrication services catering to both marine & architectural industries.

With roots originally embedded in a boat building and maritime industry, we understand where different systems are required to come together under strenuous circumstances in hash environmental conditions to still perform effectively and safely.

Only choosing to use the highest quality materials and hardware, our experience with engineering process's, problem solving, design and attention to detail are directly applicable for architectural solutions too.

Stainless Steel is an extremely resilient and hard wearing material to be used in such environments,  it also has many sustainable benefits as it dose not require additional finishing via paint/galvanizing and has a nearly 100% recyclable rate.

Not only is sailing a very sustainable and beautiful way to explore the world through the power of the wind, sun and sea... we always strive towards better environmental sustainability with business ethics, material choices, localized industry and innovative new products.

Working in the South-East

With our workshop based in Brighton & Hove on the south coast, we are centrally located to cover the Sussex coastline including Newhaven, Brighton Marina, Lady Bee Marina and Sussex Yacht Club.

We are also happy to travel further afield and cover architectural projects all across the south east.

Est. 2009

Operated by Tim Kingston who has grown up and worked  in the marine industry all of his life.  Originally trained as a shipwright, Tim went on to train as a rigger with Lowestoft Yacht Services and took over LYS, starting Kingston Rigging in 2009. Since then Tim has rigged and refit countless vessels of all sizes and types.

Originally driven by the application of rigging & deck hardware and of a love of engineering, since 2012 Tim has developed his fabrication skills through training and experience to specialize working in stainless steel and TIG welding process's.

As Kingston Rigging grows there are other experienced team members covering technical, administrative and management roles.

Over the years Kingston Rigging has has the pleasure to work with many great partners in industries both on the land as well as the sea.
