Covering all aspects of yacht rigging from the split pin to a new furler or a mast, Kingston Rigging understands the importance of the smallest detail and has the experience to keep your boat sailing efficiently and with the peace of mind that everything is in good safe order.  

Trained and experienced to utilize full rope access techniques to safely and effectively climb masts and undertake all forms of mast work required including rigging checks, fittings, electronics & navigation lights and much more.  

Working in partnership with leading industry manufactures for quality, reliability and service,  KR likes to support UK and European manufacturing wherever possible, with our main suppliers of rigging wire and fittings being Sta-lok and main rope supplier being Marlow Ropes.  

Standing rigging

  • 316 stainless steel wire  in 1x19, 7x7, 7x19, pvc covered, compaq constructions
  • Roll swageing 3 to 8mm (larger swaging available on request)
  • Swageless Sta-lok fittings in all sizes
  • Talurit press eyes 3 to 6mm
  • High quality rigging screws in stainless and bronze
  • Dyneema DM20 standing rigging assemblies splices
  • Guard wires 

Running Rigging

  • Modern and traditional rope materials and types supplied by Marlow Ropes manufactured here in the UK
  • Doublebraid pre-stretched polyester supplied and spliced
  • Cruising & racing dyneema grades SK30, SK75, SK90 and DM20 supplied and spliced
  • Winches supplied fitted and serviced
  • Blocks, tracks, clutches and other deck hardware supplied and fitted

Furling

  • Sailspar, Furlex & Profurl supplied and fitted
  • Roller furlers serviced and forstays renewed
