Khao Bird – Soho

This new culinary hotspot in Soho serving northern Thai BBQ- KR were asked to fabricate and install this bar, shelving, kitchen pass as-well as other stainless detail’s around the restaurant- creating a modern, clean yet warm and very welcoming atmosphere

working with of-a,space and alto trialing different design ideas, coming up with a design that was smooth and sleek in appearance and maximized efficiency in the fabrication, lots of rolling stainless tube, neat tig welds and satin finishing. Seen here at Cavendish Square Autumn 2025

We were asked to design a counter-weighted pulley system with winch to raise and lower a large art piece that covers a hidden projector screen. This including the design, a small amount of R&D and testing before machining of components, and finally installation.

Inspired from architects concept drawings, a good example of a smaller project. We were asked to make these small landing steps in stainless box section with beech treads.

3 of these service cabinet’s which the inside had originally been made from MDF did not stand up to the outside elements. KR redesigned the inside shelving to be made in 2mm folded stainless steel with some laser cut branding too!
